MYHockey - Reporting Game Scores

MYHockey starts the 2008-09 season on August 20, 2008. While additional growth is expected, MYHockey begins the season with over 7200 teams from 700 divisions and 120 different leagues. A site of this size requires the help of volunteers to enter scores in a timely manner. Over the years, MYHockey has found that volunteers work most effectively when posting scores for an entire division of a league (i.e. GTHL 96 AAA division). We request that you seriously consider volunteering to enter scores for the division(s) that your favorite team is playing in this season. The average volunteer spends 10-20 minutes per week entering scores that they were looking up regardless, based upon personal interest. Please VERIFY THE VOLUNTEER STATUS of your team's division. If your division is available, you are strongly encouraged to volunteer to enter scores for the team in it, or alternatively, discuss the issue with others on your team and identify a good volunteer candidate. A volunteer should possess the availability and commitment to update scores for ALL teams in their division on a weekly basis. Scores are best entered on Sunday and Monday, after weekend results have been posted and before the Tuesday evening weekly update. If your division has a volunteer but game scores are not entered by Tuesdays, you can submit updates via email by following the MYHockey Email Scores Submission Guidelines on Tuesdays. Corrections to scores already posted on MYHockey can be emailed any day of the week to errors@myhockeyrankings.com.
